For example, the valid installation path for proper operation with the installer distributed with The Gimp would be "{PROGRAM_FILES}\Common files\GTK\2.0".

GTK+ Preference Tool
The GTK+ Preference Tool is developed on Linux and tested on modern Linux distributions, as well as Windows. Note: This utility is included in latest GTK+ Themes package.
